Department of Mathematics

History of the department:   The department of Mathematics was  established in the year 1982 i.e. from the  inception of the college. Sri. Chukka  Ramaiah  who  is a  renowned  mathematician in the state of combined    Andhra Pradesh started the department along  with Dr. K.Suryanarayana who did his  Ph.D in IIT Kharagpur. Later on the   department was strengthened   by Dr.C.V.L.N.Murthy who joined the department as Lecturer in the year 1984 . His area of specialization was Algebra                    and published nearly 14 papers inalgebra in national and international journals.Under his able guidance, students got selections in IITs, Central and state Universities for their Post-graduation in Mathematics.

In the year2013, Dr.E.Malllikarjuna Goud  and Dr.M.Parappa joined the department on  promotion and have been rendering their services.
